It Was a Faint Dream (Asaki Yumemishi) Japanese B2 Poster

£80.00
It Was a Faint Dream (Asaki Yumemishi) is a Japanese drama released in 1980, directed by Akio Jissoji and produced by ATG (Art Theatre Guild). The film is inspired by classical Japanese literature and explores themes of beauty, identity, and impermanence through a poetic, dreamlike narrative.
It features performances by actors Yoshio Harada and Keiko Matsuzaka.

The poster is in very good condition with clean presentation and strong colour.
The poster has a highly artistic, almost painterly composition with a central figure dressed in layered traditional garments, surrounded by smaller, symbolic figures. The arrangement feels balanced and deliberate, with each element adding to a sense of quiet storytelling.
The colour palette is rich but soft, with reds, greens, and muted tones set against a deep black background. Fine details and flowing lines give it an elegant, dreamlike quality, making it feel more like an art print than a typical film poster.
