Vibrant, well-preserved Tom Chantrell artwork with light, age-appropriate wear.
Hurricane (1979) a sweeping romantic adventure set in the South Pacific during the 1920s, exploring forbidden love, colonial tensions, and cultural conflict, all building toward a climactic natural disaster. The film was praised for its lush cinematography and epic ambition, particularly Sven Nykvist’s visuals. It received mixed reviews overall, with critics often finding the melodrama heavy-handed and the pacing uneven despite its impressive production values.
The UK quad poster, illustrated by celebrated British artist Tom Chantrell, is in very attractive vintage condition. The artwork remains bold and vibrant, with strong colour saturation and excellent visual presence. Original fold lines and some light edge and corner wear, all consistent with age, but no significant defects. Overall a well-preserved, highly displayable example of Chantrell’s classic hand-painted cinema art.
